ONCOassist upgrade to new release of ComplianceControl Centre
ONCOassist, which has developed a revolutionary new smartphone and tablet application, developed specifically for oncology healthcare professionals, has recently upgraded to the latest release of ComplianceControl Centre
The application by ONCOassist contains all the prognostic tools and useful calculators that oncologists need at the point-of-care, freeing them from the need to conduct time consuming online searches, and giving on the spot access to these important decision support tools. ONCOassist is only the third company in the world to receive CE approval; meaning it is safe and validated and can be used to make clinical decisions. It is in the process of getting FDA approval, the gold standard for quality, whilst working with McBride and Compliance Control in order to access expertise and technology, ensuring long term compliance in their highly regulated environment.
The latest version of the Electronic Document and Quality Management System by Compliance Control cover all aspects of ONCOassist’s Quality and Compliance Management system in particular a workflow process to provide electronic signatures in conformance to 21 CFR Part 11 and EU Annex 11. The system manages documentation, equipment, training records, audits, and corrective actions and preventative actions, to ensure proactive compliance management. The system provides complete visibility of compliance across ONCOassist’s internal network through its traffic light system.
Eoin O’Carroll of ONCOassist commented, “ComplianceControl Centre is perfect for ONCOassist’s needs. We are a small company, and so had thought that Compliance and Quality Management software would be financially inaccessible, but Compliance Control’s software is extremely cost effective. This is a simple to use and out-of-the-box solution that we can control and update easily via the web.”
The software features a single on-line data repository for all Compliance, Quality and Validation documents, significantly reducing paper, spreadsheet and ad hoc database maintenance and support, also reducing overall costs. The Software as a Service per user pricing model has meant this technology is now affordable to SMEs, for whom this sort of Electronic system to manage and control Quality and Compliance had until recently, been unaffordable and unattainable.
David Forrest, CEO of Compliance Control, commented, “We are delighted that ONCOassist are getting real benefit from our software and also our partnership with McBride Compliance & Quality. McBride are helping us to get the message to SMEs who would not have previously thought about investing in this sort of software, as it was previously out of their price range. ONCOassist are benefitting from the document management and quality control software, which can be set up and validated within five days, saving them time and effort, so that they can focus on developing their fantastic product.”
