Press Release
April 2007
ComplianceControl Centre
V1.1 Launched - 02/04/07
Following further product development based on
customer feedback Compliance Control Ltd. have today announced the
availability of the v1.1 release of ComplianceControl Centre.
ComplianceControl Centre is a unique new
Oracle-based software suite that provides senior executive and
management with real-time control and visibility of the complete
Compliance and Validation status of their organisation, whilst at
the same time providing a central and secure repository for all
compliance critical data.
Compliance Control Ltd., an Oracle Independent
Software Vendor (ISV) Partner, developed the software primarily for
the life science and pharmaceutical global markets, where compliance
and validation in manufacturing, research and development, clinical
trials, supply and support systems such as IT are pivotal to the
success of a new drug.
The system stores all critical Compliance data in
a secure single database which is available and visible - with
scalable levels of access - across all parts of an organisation
(countries, sites, departments). It tracks the status of projects,
documents, systems, software, hardware for business, manufacturing,
clinical and laboratory systems. In addition, all project risks,
changes, minutes, issues and actions are visible in real-time as is
an overall assessment of compliance.
Recent additions to the software include
ComplianceControl Monitor, ComplianceControl Alerts and
ComplianceControl Forum. ComplianceControl Monitor provides a high
level Key Compliance Indicator (KCI) dashboard. ComplianceControl
Alerts provide e-mail notification of key compliance data on
documents, issues or actions, that have been delayed or are overdue,
and ComplianceControl Forum, enables the user community within an
organisation to discuss Compliance and Validation issues.
‘One of the key factors was deciding to use Oracle
technology for the application. We knew that we had to have a secure
stable database, and a simple graphical user interface to make the
data visible’. Says David Forrest. Our industry recognises Oracles
database as secure and reliable, and thus it was the obvious path to
go down.
‘We believe this software will be applicable to
many of the small to medium life science, biotech and laboratory
organisations. Some of the larger and more global players will also
find the software useful, and the fact that the central repository
is Oracle, means that the system can interface to existing corporate
systems’.
